BEGINNER SEWING WORKSHOP

Want to learn how to sew but aren't sure where to start? This hands-on beginner workshop will help you become comfortable using your own sewing machine while learning the essential skills you need to start sewing at home. No previous sewing experience is required.

During this 3-hour workshop, you'll learn:

• how to thread your sewing machine
• how to wind and insert a bobbin
• basic sewing machine operation and regular maintenance
• how to sew straight and zigzag stitches
• how to use common sewing tools
• helpful tips and tricks for beginner sewists
• hands-on sewing skills while making a reusable shopping bag to take home
  

$60 | 3 Hours | all fabric and supplies provided

Participants are encouraged to bring their own sewing machine so they can learn how to use and become comfortable with their own machine. Don't have one yet? Two sewing machines are available to reserve at no extra charge. Machines are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
