🌱 Learn to Upcycle! Beginner Workshops on Sustainable Fashion 🌿
Discover the joy of giving old things new life! In this hands-on beginner workshop, we will start by learning what upcycling is, why it matters, and how old clothing or textiles can be saved from the landfill and given a second life.
✨May 2026 Workshops - Introduction to Upcycling
Workshop includes 2 easy projects:
- T-shirt into grocery or produce bag (no sew): with just a pair of scissors, we will transform an old t-shirt into a bag.
- Fabric flowers: we will turn scraps of fabric into flowers that can be attached to clothing or accessories. This project requires some simple hand stitching.
All supplies and tools will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own t-shirt or fabric scraps to personalize your project. No prior experience needed.
