Tablecloth and Old Robe to Skirt

This month's Upcycled Sewing Rebels challenge on Skool.com is skirts. My first project is a skirt set: multi-coloured silky underskirt that shows through the lace overskirt.
The underskirt was originally a bathrobe that I hated and had been sitting in my stash for years waiting to be used. The lace overskirt is an oblong tablecloth that I believe I bought at an estate sale.

I had to "Frankenstein" the underskirt together to create enough width, but I love how it turned out.
The lace layer can be styled two ways - shorter section in the middle or at the sides - for two totally different looks. My favorite? Shorter in the middle!
