My second upcycled creation came about when I saw these stained curtains. I loved the silver branch design and thought it would make a beautiful casual jacket. The added bonus that I discovered later was that the shiny satin material was actually fused to the design fabric so I didn't need to line the jacket.
This is the pattern that I used (version B) for the jacket. Initially, I made it too long so had too shorten at the waist.
This is the finished result and I love it.
My sister loved it so much that she asked me to make her a jacket as well but in blue. I found the perfect set of curtains with a blue and teal circle design. These curtains had paints stains on them.
